I was single for almost 4 years after the divorce and even though I was lonely I learned a lot about myself and went on adventures I wouldn't have done otherwise. Problem was back then I didn't have much money or I would have lived it up more.
Hadn't met that friend I mentioned before yet which would have been a good distraction.
But I definitely have a lifestyle/s I'd like to try if I was single again, that is if I still had the vitality, and I'm not talking about sexuality either. It basically comes down to reducing down to a simpler way to live alone but I'd take off here and there to do those energetic "bucket list" things too.
One thing is I'd like to live in the 5th wheel for a summer and go to gun matches all over the country and hang out with some of the personalities I've met here and other forums.
When single I remember at some point not having had a good hug in years from a women and when it happened I literally started shaking a little because it felt so good. I had no idea I was that starved for a hug, which sounds funny, lol but it's a thing.
I guess it's something I need way deep down and something my wife gives me every day.
Some of us have more important issues to think about.
The bulk of the women now a days is the reason quality lube/s and battery operated, trumps the old standby,...
I must have gotten lucky in all areas. Met a wonderful young woman when I was 25, and she was 21. She was/is an outdoorswoman, Huntress, fisherwoman, seriously accomplished Kitcheneer, who works on her skills all the time, good mother, clean living, devout and humble. I liked both her parents, and grew to love them, and they loved me, mourned their passing. Get along with my brother-in-law, and am basking in the warm glow of my companion’s 51 years of devotion. She even cut my hair this morning, and still holds my hand.

I wonder if the goober who started this thread ever found the wife he was looking for. It's been three years he's probably divorced or gay.
It's also possible she killed him for the life insurance.
It doesn't matter. This is a good place for information to warn young men about the dangers of matrimony or long-term commitments.
When I was younger, there was no social media or forums to enlighten me. Anyone looking for a wife, might look at this thread and, after reading some of the warnings, may change their mind to remain single.
If the good Lord had not called her home in 2013 it would be 51 years as well. The woman I have met in the last 5 years really turn me off, for most of the reasons in this thread. Being highly selective then finding her, was the high light of my life.
IMHO, Pre-Nups are worthless no matter how well written they are. Regardless, SSM shares some information that an attorney sent him regarding Pre-Nups. Even though I still think they are worthless, the attorney makes some excellent points.
So, you have to ask yourself this question: If I have to go to all this trouble to get a Pre-Nup that won't get thrown out by the nice judge, is marriage worth it along with all the risks?

Man,... just think about how long the mind fucking from that will last.
Most woman are born knowing how to mind fuck men,... If not, mom teaches that fine art.
This works both ways. You just have to understand that women only have one thing men want, but men, men have 100s of things women want. I think some of these younger men are figuring it out.
