did my Faux K98 today , pretty busy week so doubtful i will get to sight it in this week , the scope and rings separate very smooth and reattach very nicely so i see that as a indicator its good , also sighting irons through the witness holes everything looks centered , scope is a period Oigee , 3 post reticle ,single turret
the rifle itself was a bad buy like 3 decades ago , bought at a gun show and i was new to collecting and it ended up being a bubba renumber , never felt right to sell it so i kept it , great bore and a good shooter , so i did not feel bad about using it for a faux sniper project
shame was its a 1915 Danzig Gewehr 98 that had been converted to K98 configuration so by all rights was quite collectable before bubba did his creative serial number work on it even if it were mismatched , he didnt have to do it
