RRA LAR-8 gas block question

I am not familiar with the RRA LAR-8...is there something different about its RRA gas block ?
Any reason a normal Adj. GB wouldn't fit and work ? , without proprietary RRA parts ?
What barrel diameter do you have ? And how much clearance does your handguard have around the GB ?
Am I not understanding something ?.... what issue are you having ?

I used a superlative arms bleed off on mine. Worked like a charm

Rock River LAR-8
Anyone have any experience with this rifle? Looking at one of the varmint models with a 20 inch barrel in 308. Curious about accuracy and any major issues. Most of the reviews I can find are old, but positive.

Lots of proprietary stuff on the lar-8s. I was hoping to use a rifle speed adjustable gas block. I did a bunch of measuring yesterday and it looks like it will barely fit under their small handguard. The issue is, they have a non-standard size gas tube. And the rifle speed gas block wants a straight gas tube. They don't offer that and I'm trying to figure out any other options. I could probably make a normal adjustable work at this point I think. But I'm really hoping to try to run that rifle speed quick adjust one. I think there might be one or two others like that too. That's the goal.
