Even if completely true, I doubt it will hurt them that much. They advertise in all the gun rags and few people care about it as much as this thread would make it seem.I'm sorta surprised that Comey didn't find an "86 Silencer Central" on the beach. Humph.
...of course, if this is true, Silencer Central just did that to themselves.
As to the costs of suppressors, they could come off the NFA completely tomorrow and prices would not drop to the ridiculous levels that some here imagine. Sure there would be a huge push in sales at first, followed by every tom dick and harry jumping in to produce crap suppressors for cheap, but they will mostly fold in a year or two.
You can sure tell the people that have no clue what it takes to be a successful manufacturer here in the states. Much less a viable business.
