Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

I was active, Reserve or Guard 1976-2018.

I tell anyone who says thank you “you were worth it.”

I was in an orphanage as a boy, with my brother and two sisters, run by the Catholic Church in Pittsburgh, PA. Holy Family Institute.

I really did it for the nuns. So they could keep doing nun stuff and raising homeless kids into adults with a sense of purpose. Every moment in the suck was worth it.

I’m a Viet Nam vet and I don’t like being told thank you for your service.
I usually say thanks , but often I say , it was a job for 4 years.
The Navy paid my way to obtain a college degree via the GI Bill , and helped get me into my first real home.
Got to see countries I never thought I’d see , grew as a person in lots of ways.
That’s enough for me ! 🇺🇸

When I was an adjuster I worked a claim where a CBR600 rear ended a Chevy C10 that was doing 70mph so hard it bent the frame of the Chevy. The PD guesstimated the CBR was doing 140-145 mph at time of impact. The riders head came to rest 220’ from his torso.

When I see videos like this I feel like it is irresponsible of them to not show that a person with a camera is not going in front of the firing position to take the video. Especially the shot that swings down low crossing right in front. There are a lot of idiots in the world waiting for an opportunity to Darwin themselves.

I spent 30 years working in claims. I have seen similar many times. I worked a claim where a guy going well over 100mph on a ricer cut an older Honda Civic almost completely in half. The Honda turned left in front of the bike.

I feel like the only people who would actually like that video or think a drum for a barrett was cool.....don't actually own a barrett....

Is the payout based distance travellled by the head?
