This is a semi-continuation from my original thread here.
I load 99% of my precision rifle ammo on an automated Dillon. The consistency is on par with anything I've loaded on my Zero, Nexus, Co-Ax, etc. I would argue that when the (automated) Dillon is properly dialed in, it's probably more precise since the shellplate movement and shellplate/ram pressure is always the same. The following will work whether you're automated or not. It should work on ANY Dillon setup (550, 750, 1100, etc).
This post is to show how to get started with loading high BC, long (in length) rifle bullets.
FWIW, I compete primarily in 6mm, 6.5, and 25 cal setups. If you're asking if this will work in XYZ caliber, I won't know, sorry.
First, I have since moved away from the Double Alpha setup. While it worked well, it was not consistent. I could load 300 rounds perfectly one day, then struggle to drop 100 bullets for a local match a few weeks later.
The Dillon Precision Bulletfeeder is by far the BEST bulletfeeder I have ever come across on the consumer side. When they say that it has never delivered an upsidedown bullet, I believe it. This thing just WORKS. I have evaluated it since the pre release. Loading approximately 3000 rounds since.
Things you will need:
Things to note: the 308 (or any Dillon bullet die does NOT work for the above calibers). I have the 9mm, 223, and 308 kit, the dies don't work for these purposes (too big or too small). If you want to load traditional 9mm, 223, and 308, it works out of the box so ignore this thread.
I'll try to edit this post as much as needed.
Let me know if you guys have any questions!

Things you will need:
- Dillon Precision Bulletfeeder with 308 conversion (part # 91109)
- Lee Precision Inline Bullet Die 26 cal (works with 25 and 6.5 - part # 92012)
- Lee Precision Inline Bullet Die 24 cal (works with 6mm - part # 92026)
- Some type of bushing (I made one myself in the video below and I'm happy to sell it for a nominal cost - works with all calibers above).
- Assemble the entire Dillon Bulletfeeder kit with the long rifle case feeder plate. Adjust as necessary to get the bullets to drop tip up.
- Insert the bushing into the 30 cal bullet drop assembly.
- Press fit into the top of the Lee die.
- Finger tight the Dillon bullet drop assembly.
