9 mm pistol suppressor on 9mm carbine

Can the suppressor I use on my Glock, with a piston due to the tilt barrel, be used without problems on my 9mm AR carbine.
Yes but you need to 'disable' the piston spring.

This is done either by replacing the spring with a solid spacer or by taking the booster housing assembly off and replacing it with a fixed mount.

The manufacturer of your suppressor probably makes those parts. At least mine does.

I use this AAC for Glocks and Wilson Combat AR9G (glock mags) SBR.
The fixed spacer installed when the barrel is fixed, replaces the piston spring.

Spacer or adapter for the win. Sure it'll work with the booster spring, but why risk it.

If you're handy can make a spacer if you have an old or oddball can as well. It much to em.

Most modern suppressor companies have exactly what you need, a spacer or a full on threaded adapter to swap in.
