Send It vs SG Pulse

Received my Pulse, connected it to the SG app, updated the firmware. Mounted the Pulse vertically on a level rifle confirmed through demo mode in the app. Clicked on calibrate and got the Pulse to display solid green indicating calibrated in the app. After ~90 seconds it shuts off and when I power it on again it's like it's never been calibrated; display is red with lights racing around the edge. Battery is at 100%.

I've tried the short-click / long click method of calibration with no joy.

Any ideas on what I'm missing in getting it to successfully calibrate?
It sounds like it is in stability mode, if the rifle is perfectly still does it go green?

The one I received yesterday is doing the same thing. I’ve emailed them but I have not received a response yet.

For me, no. After calibration the unit cuts off. When you turn it back on, you have revolving lights and have lost calibration. Once you recalibrate, or within 90 seconds of the unit being turned back on, it shuts off again.

negative. once the device powers off and powered on again it returns to the red racing led mode.

post calibration / green screen if you go into Demo mode it shows the device rotated to 0 degrees from initial indication of the device being at 90 degrees (from power up). once you power it on again after auto-shutoff everything is as it was when i received the unit prior to calibration. the firmware update remains.

i got a reply from SG first thing this morning asking for screenshots and a video which i supplied around noon today with no response as of this post. hopefully they'll reply before i strap it to a jug of tannerite that's been screaming at me lately.

UPDATE: SG is sending warranty replacement with return shipping label. bummed it didn't work out of box but happy with CS support.

Now my SG Pulse has gone wonky after ~3 months of use.

The level works fine, but I get the LED "chasing" pattern in stability mode even when the rifle is in a vise. The weird part is the app shows no movement or issues. I assumed there was some sort of drift in the IMU but it should show in the app. Re-calibration and full reset had no effect on this issue.
