National Health Care Fraud Takedown 324 Defendants

I’ve been talking about Medicare and Medicaid fraud for the better part of the last 4 decades once I learned about it.

Easy big money for criminals who are good at working with bureaucracies, which brings no surprise that many of the perpetrators are Russians.

They’ve been stealing entitlements moneys by the billions via corporate structures and buying up medical supply companies, making false claims, fomenting the opioid epidemic, while actual people who needed the services get delayed or denied.

This is one of the only good moves I’ve seen from the DOJ in a long time, as I’m one of their biggest critics.

Looks like new leadership finally had some consequences.

I have Mecicare, I'm thankful for it, and try to use it with respect. I think they take $170 or so a month out of SS. Thats cheap insurance. I chose not to go with one of the plans as I like to pick who I want. I've been paying the 20% but may get a private policy to cover that. Healthcare aint cheap. Been to the dentist lately?

The health care complex is about 20% of the entire US GDP. The sheer amount of fraud and waste is biblical.

The issues with Social Security could be fixed in an afternoon, fixing health care is going to take a civil war.

Forget about the "waste and fraud"
The big issue is the huge amount of money the "insurance companies" and other "administration" types take for themselves while denying urgently needed care to others. "Oh we can't afford to let you have xxx treatment" while pulling down multi million dollar salaries off the backs of people forced to pay for "insurance".

You mean HMO's don't mean Healthy Members Only?...
There is so much fraud, take a look at the company PACS that acquired my company, long term care. Lost 2 Billion in 1 day because of Medicare abuse during the pandemic. A total joke, while all my friends made millions after I left.
