most porsches are a very forgiving car for driver mistakes and their lack of raw monster torque helps to keep it that way ....ya rev da snot outta every gear and hope you get to the turn before the corvettes .....it does not work ....the vettes are waiting for ya

The reputation of some of the hotter 911's back in the 80's and 90's was that "You'll always wreck your first 911."
The arrival of the Carrera 4's and AWD totally changed the equation! They didn't tend to go tail first into things if you let them get away from you! The RWD Turbos and the like were for some pretty expert drivers (when driven towards their limits!)
Today, they're like being on rails!
So, yeah, they aren't Lambo crazy!
