Elon Musk announces the "American Party"

Evil requires our consent. ‘voting’ is an example of consent. Consenting to evil is never going to yield anything but more evil outcomes. Corruption will not yield willingly. Morality can only prevail when an recognition of it’s sole source is acknowledged. Musk is not a part of the cure any more than Trump is, or any other politician.

Get right with God, and help your brother and neighbor do the same.
Now this is an interesting comment. With all due respect I'm going to 'pick' on your comment just a little bit but by no means is it my intention to be directed towards you personally.

Evil... my experience with 'evil' is it's faceless and contrary to your statement is an opportunist. My clashing with it was never 'evident' but rather identified... after the fact. Like I said- it's an opportunist and seemingly collects whatever accusation is thrown at it as long as the individual has solid finger pointing skills.

Evil is nothing more than the absence of understanding. Evil is NOT "innocent until proven guilty" it's an accusation that needs to defend its own self worth despite the accusations. Evil is a moral, religious, and socioeconomic concept that means something contrary to whatever framework it's being held up against. It's the "yin" to the "yang" One cannot be "right' with out the other being "wrong" and that "wrong is embodied by whatever entity is labeled as 'evil'.

Not cool Labeling the DC Red and Blue professional as Whores. That respected title rightfully claimed and held by hard work ethics of the average DC street walking x-dress meth whores. They demand more respect than Beltway Red and Blue parasitic lifers .
.
That’s fair. How about the red/blue blood-soaked psychopaths(not hyperbole)?

I do not favor having a third party. The "American Party" will be just as much a tool for the democrats as has been the "Independent Party."

When you get a strong independent candidate, you pull votes away from republicans, not the democrats. Happens every damn time. Independent party platforms do not pull voters away from the DNC. Dems remain on brand with the power of a religious zealot.

What is better is to make the Republican Party more conservative and stronger.

And liberal republicans, like McCain was, only give more votes to the dems. Libs figure why vote for dem lite when you can just vote for dem.

Your post reminds me that I need to pick up a pork butt this week for... reasons.

This is humanist, relativist deception, though I don’t assume you intend to deceive. I don’t know you.

Evil has it’s own definition - that which is not of God, that which works against God. It’s not simply a construct of man. Stay in the Word, and it will be revealed.

Y'all just dont get it yet. Think what just happened in the ME, Trumpster doing BB's dirty work and say hello to"

Easier to keep it simple.

Good/God = freedom/free will

Evil/Satan = slavery

TL;DR

Morality is subjective and fluid.

But you won't get much traction on that because everybody believes their morals are the correct morals.

This is certainly the case with western Buddhists and other religions.

Christianity at least attempts an objective take with the 10 commandments. These too however are a matter of interpretation. “Thou shall not kill” for example is interpreted as thou shall not murder. Murder being yet another word that is up for interpretation, depending on where you’re sitting when the switch gets flipped…….

I catch what you're throwing-but IDK reckon I have to ask. How is Elon throwing his proverbial 'hat' into the ring as a billionaire any different from Trump doing the same? Rhetorical question and one I'm trying to answer for myself.

IDK- like I said, I'll withhold judgement until I can see what their platform ends up being but as an aside- Personally speaking- I'm strangely comfortable with billionaires now entertaining their fancies with holding the highest levels of political office instead of buying another yacht.

Do I want the wealthiest folks running the country... probably not... but I'm personally at the point where I'd rather have billionaires chase their own legacies rather than a multitude of billion dollar+ corporations buying otherwise "poor" politicians....

Saying all of that out loud- ouch. Certainly we need to reset and do better one way or another right?

He’s not throwing his hat in the ring like Trump. Trump ran in the GOP primaries and won. Musk is starting a new party which will not appeal to leftist and will only divide the right.

This is not going to be good news. This is going to siphon all the left folks who just left the Democrats to go to Trump. Trump can’t run again so those folks have little reason to stay.
