You post a link to a NC voter ID case where they are trying to strike down the voter id law using 9th circuit’s logic.

The link was to affirm that the NC court was trying to push for a similar verdict as the 9th. The meme was probably made before the verdict was overtured. What the fuck ever.

Like 90% of those running any agency/branch/division of government (or Church for that matter), most of the most massive failings and injustices come from trying to protect the organization itself rather than the people it is supposed to serve. The whole Catholic pedophile catastrophe was directly caused by priests trying to protect the church itself over the people. Whenever an organization serves itself rather than the people it was created to serve this happens.

John Roberts thinks a big part of being the Chief Justice is protecting the court itself, and this is the genesis of all his failures, and there will be more. When he says he is concerned about the appearance and legitimacy of the court over interpreting the law like a rational, logical person he is betraying the institution itself by making it's reputation and perception in the moment more important than the critical function it preforms for all of us.

This is what happens when you put a leader in place who serves the organization and him/herself over the reason it was created in the first place.
