I bought a 40X that’s clip slotted and would like the slotted base to match. I only started looking today but not seeing any available. DD Ross appears to be MIA entirely. Anyone know where I might find one or how often Badger does runs?
Are DD Ross and Badger M40A3 style clip slotted bases unobtanium?

That's a PTG made piece, not DD Ross.
DD Ross won’t sell his base unless he does the build. We spoke at length about that. He’s building my A3 presently. I believe he said he did at one time so there must be some out there.
I spoke to Marty and he said the clip slot cut on the 40X isn’t the same as the M40 so I’d have to have it opened up. I’m not really interested in modifying this rifle like that so I’m just going to buy a standard Badger base for it.
