Looking for feedback, etc. reference a new rifle case for the ATX with folder. Getting a longer barrel/different caliber spun up which means it won't fit into what I currently have. 26" with 419 HFM, be right at 41 +/- 1/2"
I do know the AIM has two versions, I would use the "right side" folding version of course. The Triad while not intended for a folder appears it can accommodate one, especially the right side folder. Plus the Triad is US made.

Anyhow--Anyone have the Triad version and can comment? Or have other ideas-no hard cases. Just a simple case that I will have and last.

I currently run the 52" Triad Rifle Case for my AI AT (non-folder) with a 24" barrel with the Silencerco Omega suppressor still attached. (Not sure what the overall length is, but could measure later today if it helps.) It is a very nice bag and very well made. My only gripe is that it has the two big pockets on the side and nothing smaller anywhere else so your smaller items are just bouncing around inside.
I have since bought additional smaller bags that molle inside the big pockets to fit smaller items.
For me I don't love having to open a pocket to then have to open another pocket.
If something like that doesn't bother you, then I'd say its good to go!

Ok, I would be going with the 42" I don't keep the Nomad on going to and from the range. On the flip side reference the pockets, some of these bags and cases have to many.

Sorry, just saw this. I have the 42 and use it with an MPA BA Comp chassis, folding stock, with a 20 inch barrel and an ocl polonium. It fits in that config folded with room to spare. It is very well made, as good or better than my saviors. Lots of internal and external straps and places to put things. Very well thought out. My only issue is that there is no strap for a horizontal carry. It has a handle, and a backpack config, but no shoulder carry I can figure out. I will be picking a second one up in a bit for another MPA folding chassis config I am building.

Let me know if you have any questions or want any particular pictures.

Yup, I have that case in 55 too. Love it. Just wanted something smaller for the folders. The AIM was the only case I could find that was made for folding bolt rifles. And was tall enough to handle the scope with plenty of protection. In a soft side case.
