I don't find this situation funny, but what I do find funny/hysterical is that the traditional msm is in a death spiral. Many, many Conservatives have told them point blank what the problem is and essentially, how to fix it.
None of them have even remotely come to grips with the basic, obvious fact that the problem is themselves. They just CAN'T come to grips with it. I suppose it's like dealing with alcoholism. First, you have to admit that YOU HAVE A PROBLEM.
I view the situation as a win/win. If they do come to grips and actually make good faith efforts to fix what they have fucked up, hey great. I haven't seen anything that would indicate that they are going to start doing that though.
It appears they are going to continue down the same "poisoning the well" path and essentially commit suicide. Which, I'm certainly OK with that too. In fact, after all the damage they have done, I'd prefer that's what they do.
I believe the term is "schadenfreude"
