Ryan has really practiced becoming a profession time interviewer almost like old school 60 minutes. He doesn’t jump important guests that hard..because if you do then next guys won’t come on.
Well the Datsun is gone... Actually just away for the engine phase. When it gets back I'll finish it. In the meantime this is the next project. It was thought to be a Lotus 38 but I think it's a 29 with an upgraded engine to Hilbourn FI. 29's had Weber's but this is a Ford 255 4 OH cam with injection, but it also has a Colotti T.37A gearbox. 38's had a ZF. They were doing a lot of that from '62-'66 when the rear engine cars started. Still trying to figure out who might have driven it. One thing for sure it was not Gurney... The roll bar is too short
