Is it a gen 2.. they just came out with a ambi gen 2 version so might be clearing out older models. Great price either way. After shooting some matches with a GFR style gun...the ambi controls would be huge for sending bolt home with trigger hand and not having to come off with support hand to hit bolt release.
It is a nice match feature. If you’re running somebody else’s Ambi it may take some getting used to.
It looks like primary arms is offering a good price on the gen 1 model # 08-374S. The gen 2 with ambi controls is lited as model # 08-652S on the Geissele website.
I had the 18" DDC in my cart at primary arms yesterday, I was really close to pulling the trigger, but I told myself I was going to hold out for the Ambi version. I'm always happier in the end if I don't compromise, even if it means waiting longer and spending a little bit more money.
I have been on the fence between 16" and 18" barrel, leaning more toward 18 as I already have a dedicated 5.56 16" spr type rig, and a 20" LMT 6.5 CM
The Geissele GFR 6 ARC sure looks like it does a great job bridging the gap between a small frame SPR 5.56 and large frame 6.5 CM AR

I picked up a 16” GFR off gunbroker last night, so I’ll likely be cancelling my order with primary. 16” was the goal all along but the price they offered at primary was too good to pass up.
So you were the one to beat me on that black 16” congrats. Did you end up cancelling the DDC from primary?
The new ambi controls are excellent and intuitive, not fiddly little levers. Personal favorite to use among KAC, ADM, LMT, Griffin and LWRC. It’s worth the wait, and might be only way to get it for a while, a long while. 20” MOD 1 comes with this new Swavvy muzzle brake, can’t find any info on it and it requires a special G tool (or one I don’t have).

The double lever for the right sight bolt catch is probably the best execution to date for an ambi bolt catch with full function. Not sure I like the left side mag release location, but that's just me coming off of drop-in stuff like the Norgon.
Geissele made a very slick lower for sure. Their proprietary collapsible stock is
