I agree. While looking into her death, they should also look into his death, as well. As for the injuries he suffered in the ambush attack, how would he cause those wounds to himself?

I am not a forensic expert, I only play one on TV. Most people shooting themselves to cause an injury to pretend to be a victim try to get a flesh wound. Non-vital target and designed to bleed somewhat. Of the people shooting themselves to fake victimhood, none would shoot themselves in the face. That makes no sense.

What if his wife, the perfect angel, shot at him and he got the gun and returned fire. Then knew how it would look and got rid of the gun.

It was already said, but who would EVER shoot themselves in the face and jaw, requiring reconstructive surgery, for an alibi? And why didn’t their “new findings” even bother to address this? And the giant leap from a healed broken nose to proof of marital abuse, because that’s the only way you can break your nose. This whole thing looks like a BS PR stunt by some detective looking to become a celebrity.

What is to gain? What evidence just popped up to make the story change? It sounds like a double load of BS. Author is looking to make the news.

Yeah, it takes time away that should have been spent on current crime, but they have been bought off to ignore it, so they have to make it look like they are doing something other than surfing the internet when at work……

Well, considering all the prevarication surrounding the “Lone Survivor” and “American Sniper,” why not.

We tend to blindly gloss over a heck of a lot of ugliness to put our heroes up on pedestals.

The one thing I don't understand about that op is long ago we carried drugs that were administered by height & garth, that would put them to sleep for 2-4 hrs depending doseage. They don't issue those any more?

Can’t speak for the medications, different dosings for different types.

Finicky ones tend to go by Body Surface Area, based on Ideal Body Weight derived from one’s height (?).

I get BMI ratio, but we did not have that kind of time. We were told approx age, height, chest, waist, chart & stick them.

Not BMI - BSA, Body Surface Area. The latter indices you mentioned (nomograms for age, height, chest, waist measurements) are usually for Pediatric doses.

Wait for some of those in the medical field to pop up, they’d know better…
