We're not talking about "which" blade you'd bring or want to bring nor are we talking about your "show" piece. This is a thread about knives that have been there, done that, and made it back to tell a story...
Fair disclosure- they're likely well loved but likely not going to be pretty..
I'll start it off...
That's been hand washed countless times but still can't get rid of the Iraqi "moon dust". In case there's any question of this knife's pedigree... here she be in her original/natural environment...
And here's where it's at now...
She's been abused and seen some things but I'll never get rid of or sell this knife that likely comes across as a piece of crap to anybody else that looks at it. Not sure if it's apparent but I did end up removing one of the retention straps along the ways intentionally.
