Has anyone had the chance to pick up a new Weatherby rifle in 224 Weatherby? With the new ammo offerings made for the 1:8 twist it seems like quite an interesting opportunity for people who want to shoot varmints and big game with a .224 cal i suspect there will be no problem for this cartridge to take a deer. If you have experience with it I would love to hear about it.

I am not aware of any wildcats made off the .224 but the 240 should be a fine case for really large 30-06 wildcats sun as the 400 Whelen. so that belt would really help where very small necks would be a problem. Maybe something in the 30 or .338 sized bullets with a mild little deer rifle with no issues with headspace. (And more power than the Whisper/Blackout).

Of course as always, there are plenty of rounds to cover any and every possible use under the sun, including dinosaurs and outer space aliens. So, I assume this post is all a moot point.
