Has anyone had the chance to pick up a new Weatherby rifle in 224 Weatherby? With the new ammo offerings made for the 1:8 twist it seems like quite an interesting opportunity for people who want to shoot varmints and big game with a .224 cal i suspect there will be no problem for this cartridge to take a deer. If you have experience with it I would love to hear about it.

I don’t but I’m glad the old chambering might have some reloading support again for a friend with an old rifle he hasn’t been able to do anything with.
They also still sell ammunition for the old rifles with 1:12 twist
