I’m certainly not against sending the illegals back but these raids of people just trying to work is not a good look.
Illegals are able to find work. Work that pays well enough to live off of (a living wage). Maybe welfare is paying too good?

Blue collar crime vs white collar crime. The non violent are breeding anchor babies, their children are occupying schools costing untold dollars and the education of the citizens children, they are a burden on the healthcare system, they abuse the social handouts of welfare, food stamps etc, identity theft, driving without insurance or a license, auto accidents causing injury and death of citizens and the list goes on and on.
Violent or not. Get rid of every one of them. When they start snatching the white collar illegals the self deportation may just increase enough to make a difference.
You have a low probability of violent crime against you by an illegal but you have a 100% chance of the non violent illegal effecting you. States, counties and cities are raising taxes to cover the cost of them. Insurance companies are raising prices to cover the non insured liability. Areas of every city are turning into third world slums of non English speaking illegals.
I dont think problems stem from those who come here to work. You can leave those people alone in my opinion. I think we actually want those people, right? They are actually doing something with their lives!
I remember throughout Obamas administration everyone was claiming there were only 11 million illegals and now we find out that 20 million more came in under Biden. We all know the 11 million figure was a lie. We can’t have a country where 10% of the population is illegal. That is not acceptable. It is not workable. The US is for Americans.

Just to play Devils Advocate. Having an illegal workforce creates a permanent underclass that can be abused by unscrupulous employers and landlords. Often crime victims, for fear of reporting. Can depress wages, because wage and hourly laws can often be violated with immunity. Can easily harbor a criminal element. An example, the now overwhelming fleet of uninsured and unregistered Venezuelan moped Door Dashers in some of our large cities.

Obtaining public assistance when you are not a citizen is a crime in most cases.
Stealing housing. Want to make a dent in the homeless problem? Deport 20,000,000 people who should have never been here in the first place.
Stealing a job. Working without a proper visa is a crime. Then you can add the actual crimes of trafficking drugs and kids and whatever else they are doing.
Exploiting undocumented foreign workers is a crime. Start charging employers too.
These people send tens of billions of dollars a year back to their home countries because they live rent free, eat free, enjoy free medical, dental and vision on the government dime. They are cheap labor because my tax dollars pay their benefits. This cheap labor will destroy the country.
Deport them all. I'm sure some of them are nice enough but they ALL broke the law. Enough already.

When I graduated college, the Federally subside loans had an 8% interest rate.
We were required to attend a class that spelled out the requirements of the loans before the funds would be transferred.
I assume its still that way today.
When you’re poor you need to take AP classes in HS and attend JC during summer and go to JC for a year then transfer to a state university. That way your tuition bill is manageable. Oh, and learn something practical that will satisfy your needs- emotional and financial.

Should have gone to a trade school instead. All I can say is 'you fucked up'... big time. I don't feel the least bit bad for her, SHE is the one who took out the loan. SHE should have read the fine print. SHE obviously hasn't got a clue about compounding interest. Maybe instead of $1500/mo she should be doing $2500 and live on ramen for a few years, which is what she should have done instead of taking out the loan in the first place.
