I have a hand-me-down Remington 700 chambered in 375 HH Magnum that I'm looking to convert to a 7 mm PRC as a dedicated elk and long range plinking gun. I've heard/read there may be issues with feeding from magazines but wanted to confirm here. The plan is to use a chassis system, probably the KRG Bravo and Preferred Barrel Remage barrel system. Any advice would be appreciated.

You're probably better off selling it and getting a custom action since you're replacing everything anyways. A 375 h&h rifle should have a good resale value as well.

This is an excellent point. They didn’t make that many 700’s in 375 H&H and it would sell for more than your typical 700, probably enough to get a Solus or Origin action, or even a Tikka, and you’d be better off.
