I have, and at one point wanted to move to Oaxaca Mexico. Beautiful area in the mountains of south central Mexico. Then it hit me, no guns allowed and Cartels make traveling to and from a gamble.
I spent a good portion of last year in Italy and I'm strongly leaning to doing dual citizenship. The lifestyle is amazing (when you stay away from the high tourism areas) and the food is real. They have laws against processing food. There's definitely more research that I have to do, but the ease of the lifestyle there is what got me. The real problem I have is I'm an American to the core. They don't have all the same freedoms we have. Because of all the shitty travel I've done, I've seen what most take for granted, and would never want to give it up.

I have heated (and ventilated) seats/steering wheel and thought I'd never use that again. But come December I was remote starting my car and using both the heated seat and steering wheel. I was leaving for work at 4:30 am as well. The humidity cuts through you like you wouldn't imagine. Come midday/evening though, you don't dread scrapping the ice off your windshield again. And I'm certainly not gonna miss shoveling/snow blowing. At the peak of Summer, Colorado gets higher temps than Central Florida too. But the humidity. It lasted about a month and now it's been really nice and dryer than one would expect.
Last time I went to South Florida it was in the 40s, raining, and Gale Force winds all week. I still got in the water because I spent money to go to Florida dammit.
I was there a few years ago for Christmas with the in-laws. That was also the time that massive cold front froze everything in the country. The Fort Myers area saw high temps during the day that were only in the high 40’s/low 50’s. It also snowed in Miami

My first stop in FL was Gainesville to meet my brother at a friend’s place. It was covered in ice. I figured it was a freak storm but when we went out to breakfast I noticed everyone was wearing winter coats. I was like wtf why do these people own winter coats???

That's what's wrong with the current state system. Even if it's not gerrymandered, Still a state like California or New York really is not a state at all. its a large city complex, filled with big city loving lefties, and the entire rest of the state is pretty much populated by taxpaying serfs with no vote and no say in "their" state.
Most of my family lives in north Tallahassee...about 10 miles from the GA line. Climate, folliage, and topography is definitely more like south GA than what people think of as Florida. Live Oaks with moss and canopy roads.
I live in Olive Branch, MS about 10 mins outside of Memphis. I have a house that I love and was bought at the right time. If it was not so close to the shithole Memphis has become and the weather, hot as FL in summer and cold in the winter, I would love it. I think about moving almost everyday. Unfortunately/fortunately, I built a successful business here that can not be moved or easily sold.

Northern Idaho is beautiful. Utah is shooting and long-range paradise though, with a lot of National Parks and outdoor recreation.
Of all the States I’ve rolled through or lived in (lived in 8), I’ve never been treated more rudely out of the gate than in Peabody, Massachusetts. It seemed like they had a strong case of half-retard going on there with their yutes that day in summer 1992. Not sure if it was just a fluke, but the Mainers referred to them as Massholes.
First got into LR shooting when we made our home in Utah several years ago. Love it here as the shooting sports (and the fly-fishing and the skiing) are excellent.
Texas is close to being a blue state now. The mexicans and the blacks have turned every large city into a crime filled ghetto. The TX republican politicians are mostly rinos and I'm not sure Abbott is much better.
