Help with M40A1 carrying case

a1 did not use a 1750 case, the a5 did. The a1 used a green Plastico case….

M40A1s did see use in Pelican 1750s. They were used during the invasion.

I have a used Pelican case up in my loft, I'll put up some pics of it later. It was one where we sent the gun off for work (FSSG didn't want the full case when sent to them for work, just the gun) and it got deadlined to be rebuilt, so the case was orphaned and the armory wanted it gone. I "repurposed" it.

ETA: Here you go. It’s open cell foam, got the ridges like it was cut with an electric carving knife. Keep in mind, this is how they would be received from back stock at Albany or Barstow, just the gun. All SL3 gear was issued separately and we’d keep that in our own kit or the drag bag. This is a sample of one, lots of guys would cut out additional compartments as well as SN would be painted on in different spots, depending on who did what-when.

Here is my Protecto Kaddy case. I copied a photo I seen on here or M40.com when it was still up. The white numbers need to get a little roughed up. They still look to new.

From what I understand they were Green or Tan. But had a certain type of foam. I think I have a picture somewhere of the foam inside.
