Mike Crawford and Skott Mealer two “nf folks”, who work in sales and warranty department.Source?
(Other than vague “nf folks”)

Just hints not specifics. I did another post asking if anyone else has heard anything. I’m just an optics whore like many others with no insider information. That a way to burn a source.
I have always hoped for a Gen2, 2.5-10x42 NXS it would be very nice with a daylight bright reticle. The night force folks keep hinting at something new to replace the 2.5-10x42 NXS coming out around shot show time.
If it's an ATACR at 2-12 and 27 oz or less, I'll be a buyer. If it's an NX6? and the turrets don't lock, or they are capped, I won't be.Will be interesting to see what NF brings to the table.
If we are playing a guessing game I'd say it's an NX8 of some kind, so the fabled 1.5-12 thats been mentioned.
Personally I think I'm kind of over the whole dream MPVO idea, I just want some lower magnification FFP scopes that I can use for hunting/cross over rifles.
A nice set of 2.5-10, 3-12, 4-16 scopes that don't weigh 30oz and have a properly sized reticle is all I really want.
8x, 10x, 12x erector scopes that are only 8" long really do nothing for me.
It’d be in for a locking turret or capped NX6 at under 25oz. To each their own though. If it's an ATACR at 2-12 and 27 oz or less, I'll be a buyer. If it's an NX6? and the turrets don't lock, or they are capped, I won't be.

Luckily for me I'm in the very small minority that loves the rotating eyepiece. I like to shoot dynamic comps that usually require me to carry (run with) a rifle against my chest or back for long periods of time and throw levers end up digging in. So I toss out throw levers and the full rotating eye piece allows me to just grab the whole freaking thing with my hand and start cranking it. It's a gross motor skill that's much easier for me to perform than finding a throw lever with my fingers when I'm exhausted and HR is sky high. I think the biggest issue people have with them is no lens cover. I run one only on the objective side and then you can cut a Butler Creek silicone bikini cover in half insecure it to your mouth and stretch it over your ocular lens. When you get to where you going and you release it it just sucks back up near the mount.ATACR vs NX struggle

Me...already considering another mundane NF option that costs too much.

What MPVO’s have daylight or nuclear bright reticles?
I’d like 15X minimum on the top and FFP but no other requirements except nuclear bright .
Thanks
I don’t need it for the bottom end. I run a red dot atop so the whole reticle being nuclear bright is what I’m looking for.Nuclear bright what?
Center dot? Center crosshair? Whole reticle?
With what should be a rather visible bottom end, how much you need from it unless you've got a mismatched reticle for the power range like the Steiner 2-12x Mil.
I don't think any scopes have nuclear bright full reticle illumination, not sure it's even possible. Would have to ask Ilya about that.I don’t need it for the bottom end. I run a red dot atop so the whole reticle being nuclear bright is what I’m looking for.
I only use 5.56 so I’m not dialing and with my old eyes a nuclear bright whole reticle or even just nuclear bright dots going down the elevation would be very helpful for the holds.
TY
Nightforce is probably the brightest. I have the new daylight bright Vudu 1-10 and it's bright as well. They went to diffraction grating and are lighting only the center, much brighter than previous version. What MPVO’s have daylight or nuclear bright reticles?

I have the 3-18 and the 2-12. My samples the 2-12 is a much better scope, my 3-18 has much worse CA. Unsure if it’s just a quality issue or what.Looking to buy the 3-18 version for my 18" AR. Patiently waiting for your findings.
Amazing how many features can be packed into a mid priced scope.
The reticle looks real nice!S&B just is coming out with a FFP 3-18x42 Meta that looks really interesting, other than the price point.
I just bought the SFP version on sale at EuroOptic for 1,999, a grand + off. I was thinking how GREAT it would be if they made a FFP version with a good reticle. Checked their website and one is coming out, just twice the price I paid. The reticle looks real nice!
Yeah I seen how much cheaper the SFP is. looks like a sweet scope, great weight. I hate the design like the NF 2.5-20 NX8 and k328i with no room between the turrets and the objective bell.I just bought the SFP version on sale at EuroOptic for 1,999, a grand + off. I'll be honest, I don't see anything special with the reticle, looks like another modified tree with partial illumination and will likely suffer at one end of the magnification range or the other. The reticle looks real nice!
