Just picked mine up this evening. 6 weeks and 2 days. Now to run a patch down it bore scope it and mount it up. Thanks for such a quick turn around.
They're rolling out! Mine took a box for the action to feel like it wasn't new but the barrel shot great from the start. I run mine with grease and Leon runs his completely dry.

Unfortunately it seems like that "8 week" lead time was a bunch of BS...........Mine only took six and a half.:D

Gonna put 500-1000 rounds through it this weekend, probably won't bother shooting it for groups just yet.
Please keep us posted on your thoughts I really want to order one but I have a Vudoo and a 40X that Dave Lott just finished rebarreling and I have 2 RimX's....also looking hard at Kenny's new action, way to many great choices now days LOL!

I
for those of you that have received your combo what has the headspace been set to?
I have been setting all of them from .0425 to .0435 of headspace. I have a spreadsheet and can provide the specific information for lug thickness and headspace measurement on each action by serial number.

Are these barrels cut for SK/Lapua or for Eley?
Are any barrels truly cut for one or the other? We have seen Eley chambers that shoot some SK/Lapua better and SK/Lapua chambers that shoot some Eley better. Generally it is accepted that a 2 degree chamber lead angle is ideal for Eley and 1.5 degree lead angle is ideal for SK/Ammo. The standard Wasp chamber is 1.5 degrees however we have a 2 degree Wasp reamer on hand as well that we are testing. Our current chambers have shown to perform very well with both ammo brands.

So I will attest to this system just being an absolute dream. I have roughly 600rds through it now. My main gun went down and I had the stinger action with 75rds through it, so the stinger is what I took to the PRS Finale in Idaho. The action came in on Wednesday I had a quick chance to throw it in my Manners TCS Max and put 75rds through it. The last 10rds(two 5rd groups) I shot through the action are groups I have pictured below with Eley Match @ 50yds.

Flew out Thursday. On Tune Up day, Leon helped me with tuning the stinger mags(I'm an idiot, it was a me problem not a mag problem :ROFLMAO: ). He got them running quickly. I brought extra ammo and burned about 250rds, built a quick profile and just full sent it on match days.

I finished the match with a score of 90.07%. Dropped 13 first day and 14 the second day. I have never taken a rifle into a match with zero trigger time really before now. The rifle is a tac driver! extremely smooth bolt and the 90 degree throw was easy to get use to it after a couple stages.

The barrel was easily grouping under an inch at 100yds with 5rd groups. I was able to clean 7 stages which for me is a personal best and the best I have ever shot during a match.

Leon and his crew at L3i are jam up people and were willing to drop everything during tune up to help not just me but other L3i customers they had with their stinger mags, cz products or answer any general questions they had about the stinger action.

This is a great action and look forward to many more matches with it during the 2026 season.

P.S. I'll be at the Clinton House PRS Match on October 19 in SC if you wanna take some shots with the Stinger (y).

Thank you Leon and everyone at L3i.
