Looking to have a proof carbon fiber stock cut down to shorten the lop. No idea on where to send it. Anyone know anybody that could do this type of Work? Thanks

At one time at least, ag composites made the stocks, may be worth asking them if there are any special considerations that might be needed? Not sure that’s the case anymore
Edit: guess I was wrong

I havent worked with that specific stock, but I've run into many of the "lightweight fills" that are essentially hollow in the stock area.

^ this is great advice. It would be good to know what's in there before you start chopping. You'll need material to glue or glue & screw the new recoil pad into.

Depending on chop length, fill, etc you could use some great stuff expanding foam and anchor some delrin or other HDPE in there to put a couple screws in.
Glue around the edges too.

Sucks to hear about J Ducos’ health.
Guy is a wizard for all things stock related, from repairs to aftermarket add ons.

Looking to take it to 12.75. I find myself having to crawl up the stock with my face to get proper eye relief. I wish all these stock makers would tone it down on lop. It’s always easier to add on instead of taking some off.

Ryan Hunt of hunts long range is going to tackle it for me thankfully. Always has done good work for me.

I agree completely. Easy to make it longer…tough to shrink them.

I feel the same way about grip to trigger distance. E.g., I believe that Manners thinks all shooters are NBA players who can palm a ball.
