Ummmm ... I'm just a city slicker but I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to eat your "allies".

I'm also pretty sure raised beds need more than an inch of topsoil.

A proper raised garden. Yield will be enough for 3-4 meals for two people. Please excuse the ragged appearance, wind has been whipping the shit out of everthing.

CHAZ garden is pre-school thinking.

$300 for a good one done in a day by a decent law firm.
Lots of others available too.
It got a little pricey when I did mine, since the feds wanted yet another $200 for each item moved from my name into the trust. But I feel better knowing that when I croak my family won't be under a short fuse to dispose/sell the toys.

Relative bearing grease, the mail buoy watch, viewing a sea bat, and a couple hundred feet of chow line were popular in the Navy, way back when.
Along these lines; year ago I sent my girlfriend at the time into a deli for a bag of chips and bearded clam dip. Things didn't get truly hilarious until Jenny asked the clerk to help her find the dip.

My son is on one of the Tennessee Highway patrol strike teams at the Capitol. Governor Lee says that ain't happening here.
Let your son know that there are plenty of red blooded Americans left that support him and want this Commie bullshit stopped regardless of what
the MSM is saying. This must be the most difficult time to be a police officer. Best of luck to him.

Thanks for the support. He's a third generation LEO, so he's been steeped in it for a long time.

When I was about 13yo a local Sherriff's Deputy stopped by to ask if I heard some kids talking about breaking into a barn. My father tried to get them to arrest me. When they wouldn't arrest me he personally took me to the jail - kinda like a road trip. Handcuffs were neat but the food was lousy. Wanted me to experience one of life's little realities. Sorta like when he took a belt to me when I came home, ONCE, after sunset. Never did that again either.
