Love my Bravo, but I am selling the tool less adjustable butt pad. I need weights added and the pad takes up space.
I have the tooless adjustable buttpad and I added weight to the Bravo by putting some 1/2 oz wheel weights from Harbor Freight into the different crevases in the buttstock to balance my rifle.

All the holes are filled with lead shot wrapped in saran wrap. Still wanted more weight. Still selling both adjustable butt plates I have, but can't post in the PX now. Somebody changed the rules.

then pay the $20 like everyone else?

Just ordered a stock, and maybe I should have posted this question prior, but....anyone running this stock/M700 in a 223? If so, any feeding issues? I've got an AICS mag coming + MDT polymer mags. Why 223? Because I have so many other custom rifles in the safe and I have a trued out M700/Tubb lug/fluted 30" Krieger barrel just takin up space in the safe....so why not?

I run MDT polymers with my bone stock R700 in .223Rem. You should have zero issues.

Also the Magpul 223 AICS pmags are shipping or shipping soon.

The price was irresistible when looking to mod my .22 mag CZ 457. Ended up where the only CZ part is the action and bolt, and I even put a 10% striker spring in that. With a Lilja .22 Mag Match barrel groups are LOT better than I expected.

I like the Bravo so much that I ordered a 6mm BadRock (Defiance Machine) rifle and it will be wearing a Bravo stock. Pics:

CZ 457 on the Bravo, Lilja Barrel and 5 shot group at 100 yards after a 15 shot break-in. Bipod and rear bag, no fancy sled or benchrest gear:

Upcoming rifle from BadRock. Should have it around end of December ~end of January:

For you guys using this stock in PRS, I have a question on accessories:
1) is the Arca rail the one to buy, or the entire alum fore end
Stock isn't long enough + the back is light, so I'm going to order the heavy steel spacer and then add more if needed.
Anything else I'm missing?

Barricade stop: does that attach to the bottom Arca rail, or to the sides?

I used a spigot and the Area 419 arca rail
I added the weight as well

I just placed a Triggertech in the shopping cart.
I was wondered if anyone can provide details or a pic of the minor mod
required to use it with the Bravo.

I’ve had 3 bravos all with TT’s. None had any fitment issues.

IIRC you can actually add more weights to the stock/base Bravo forend, you'll want the Heavy ARCA Spacer, Heavy ARCA Rail, Forend T-slot Weight, along with 1-3 Heavy LOP Spacers... that and an MTU contour barrel will add up to ~22lbs which is about where most PRS rifles land these days. You can also add a pair of mlok weights up front if need be.

I think you can add a little more weight to the enclosed forend because the ARCA stuff is longer, and they look cooler, but those are a PIA to live with if you ever have to pull your BA (a zillion screws), and make most sunshades a no-go.

IMHO KRG's barricade stops are pretty pointless besides the little one that goes on the magwell.

It can get pricey, but for ~$700ish fully kitted out with weights, a pimped-out Bravo is as nice or nicer than about anything else that costs twice that. ...and, with a Bravo you can still pull all the shit off it and go hunting with it if you want to.

You can get just the aluminum forend (non arca) and bolt the heavy spacer and heavy arca on it for more weight than the polymer forend on top of everything else listed. The XL spigot is also a really good way to shift weight forward if needed. And you can get the brass weight from Raven Rock and it's heavier than the KRG one.

I wondered about that with the aluminum forend, but then you can't use the mlok weights, so think it's a wash really...

I had to send back the XL spigot, mine made contact with my barrel (plus it looked wonky/dumb, and that matters hahaha). I settled on the minimalist spigot with short pic rail and with the RRS HC-Pro clamp my bipod just lived there 90% of the time.

I really like the Bravo platform, in a lot of ways the Manners TCS I run now had to live up to the Bravo's standard, not the other way around.

Where the safety lever pivots. You may need to remove some material for it to move all the way back and forth. A little Dremel work on the aluminum. It's not a lot.

What's the contour of your barrel? I just ordered the xl spigot and am running a competition contour barrel.

I appreciate all the input. I've got the heavy LOP spacer coming + ACRA rail. I've already got plans to weight the butt but have to wait for my scope to arrive (hopefully this week) before playing with the rifle's overall weight and balance point.

The barrel I had an issue with was an MTU, but KRG said they hadn’t had many issues like mine, so maybe I just got a weird stock or spigot…

I made a personal modification to my KRG based on a post from r/longrange.

Instead of using the traditional spacer system, I went out and found aluminum spacers from Home Depot that could replace the space. It worked out pretty well. Anyone else ever give this a try?

I thought I would check back in after receiving and installing the xl spigot. It cleared just fine even using a custom competition contour barrel. I was pleased with how much more stable it is by moving the bipod forward.

Tossing up whether I like the enclosed forend on the Bravo or not - some times I look at it when I like it, other times I think it looks a bit odd.

I think the enclosed forend looks awesome on either the Whiskey or Bravo.

I just picked up a Bravo purely because it can / will have the enclosed forend.

Interesting.....every KRG chassis I have ever purchased has a little rubber o ring that used to set the height of the cheek riser so when you set it up, and remove, it goes back to the height you set it at

I didn’t see anything like that with my recent Bravo.

I'm on my third and did not see any 0 rings. I bought my own in the plumbing department at Lowe's.
