    I think maybe op has never humped a basic combat load over a mountain in a hostile AO. If he had, he probably wouldn't be wishing it was heavier, or contained fewer rounds.

    do you shoot .308 FACTORY ammo out of your 7.62x51 chamber semi-auto?

    I have an LR308 chambered in .308 that will NOT fire 7.62x51 Milsurp ammo. I also have one chambered in 7.62x51 that will fire both Milsurp and commercial .308. They ARE absolutely different, just not by much.

    Your thoughts on the Bushnell Elite 3200 10x mil/mil for a .22lr?

    The Midway BSA 4-14x44 FFP mil/mil has focus/parallax down to 10yds. I know it's a BSA, but Midway will stand behind em. I have three of them on my rimfires, and they work great for me. Great trainer scope for $250 on sale, w free shipping.

    You need to concentrate on writing complete sentences without grammatical errors and typos. If you can't write solid reports, they won't hire you. Period. No matter how well you can shoot.

    Mine is $50 in Austin, if you want to drive that far. Gas money from Corpus and back (twice) is probably more than the difference, though.

    I disagree. I have been doing business with my SOT dealer for more than ten years, and they have always treated me right. They made a mistake, it happens to everyone. I didn't flip out on them; I gave them a chance to get it figured out, and they did. No good reason to torch that relationship...

    I loaded a bunch of 40 SW with SR primers, and found that I averaged about 5% FTF with light primer strikes in a Glock 35. The SR primers fit, but a striker pistol may light them inconsistently. My intent was to simplify my primer inventory, but I went back to SPs for my 40 loads, and they work...

    Everything I've ever hit with 178 AMAXs has not even taken a step. And they are accurate. I can't see a reason to for me to use anything else.
