Rifle Scopes Schmidt Bender PMII 5-25x56 MTC/LT Turrets

I had one of the first locking 5-25 mtc's in h2cmr out in the regular market. I played with that thing for a couple of days solid trying to talk myself into liking the mtc knobs and just couldn't do it. the detents were just tooo heavy to me. I reeeeeeally wish Schmidt would offer to put a...

    OCW...the new buzz word?why?

Just kinda hit me as well, if the ladder is done at .1 incriments or .2 incriments instead of two shots at the same charge wt you eliminate human err even more and get more data points as a bonus. Thats good thinkin. I usually did a .5 jump then a second at .2-.3 in the hot spots that...

    OCW...the new buzz word?why?

Parts of it need to die. Even at .1 grain incriments steves ladder still very clearly shows the nodes nothing gray or cloudy about interpertation.job well done steve on the test targets. I put my charge wts at the impacts. When it gets crowded at nodes i just draw a line out from impacts and...

want a do it all rifle

I think you got plenty of stuff to sell and get a surgeon scalpel in 6.5 creed. that cartridge is about as versatile as it gets. or if you want it a little more custom on barrel profiles moon's your man.george's crew is awesome too, I did the same thing you are gonna do "mine on smaller...

    OCW...the new buzz word?why?

I got a gun comin back from a rebarrel fairly soon. Im tempted to work it up both ways and post results here and let the man hisself interpert the test stages as i go. And then work the ladder and see if i end up with the same charge or not. Then test them head to head on my 1025 yd target at...

    OCW...the new buzz word?why?

Even on his test targest hes talkin about comparing groups before and after the 2 good center groups Top row previous group is clustered high and group after the good one is clustered low. He speaks about the high low Bottom row. Center group best again but both previous and group after have...

    6mm XC project

gorski, 1.is your gun a 6xc? 2. twist rate and capability to stabilize a given bullet depend on your location/elevation. hence I say "you never know where your travels may take you"

    OCW...the new buzz word?why?

I keep hearin all this talk about ocw this and ocw that. all the test targets ive seen haven't really been that definitive at all. to me a ladder test is just so much more clear. move to 400 +/- in early morning or late afternoon calm conditions and it clearly gives you node clusters in 15 rds...
