    I am just trying to figure out if people are shooting better than the larue test targets. Mine shipped with a .474 test target and I am hoping with some load development it will run better. I am going to shoot it next weekend. What has your experience been?

    Will 1 inch rings clear a 50mm objective? I have a scope and night force medium rings but do not have the rifle. I will be flying out with my optic and rings next week and will be mounting it on an OBR when I get there.

    Re: Average Waiting period for AI AX 308 I would take it in any color I could get. Spray it the color you want or hit up any of the hide painters. I would settle for a 26 inch barrel if they have them and cut it down if you can't deal with the extra 2 inches.

    Re: Scope size looks appropriate for gun, am I nuts? I went a night force f1. The rifle is a beast already, so don't worry about the scope size. If it was me I would drop the 3-10 on it. It's nice to be able to reach out farther if you need it.

    Re: Just started - group size? Put on glasses to prevent scope bite ithe a 308. They will let you know if the scope got near your face. If you have a proper shooting position it should not be a problem. If it is a problem, you need to fix it before you move to larger rifles or you will bleed.
