    Re: Smoking and Grilling??? I've had great luck with a plain old Webber grill. I really like my old school Traeger though. You can smoke, grill, BBQ, even bake in it. I did a turkey for Christmas that came out great. Oh yeah, and the jerky is outstanding!

    Re: Tikka 223 or 25-06 The 1 in 8" twist was the deciding factor for me. I got the T3 Hunter and it's been a good rifle so far. The heaviest bullet I've shot through it has been 64 grains, the lightest 55gr. and it shot them both well.

    Re: Anyone Form 7mm-08 from 308 or 30-06? I'm guessing it should work well with .308. Just run it through a F/L sizer die and you should be good to go. You are only necking down roughly over a half mm. Making it out of .30-06 I think would be more trouble than it's worth. I make .260 brass...

    Hunting & Fishing Pistol Hunters??

    Re: Pistol Hunters?? I love hunting with my S&W 657. I have taken javelina, Texas hog and tons of jacks with 210 grain Hornady XTP's @ about 1400 fps. I hunted cow elk last year with my Model 29 but didn't get a shot with it. I wound up getting one with my '06 though.

    Re: Which reloading press to buy??? You can't go wrong with a Rock Chucker. I've been loading quality ammo on mine for years. Get a good reloading manual like suggested above and get familiar with each step. Safety first!

    Re: Tikka T3 Lite = Too Light? I have a T3 Lite in .30-06. Like you, I wanted the WSM, but I got a smokin' deal on the '06. Overall I'm pretty happy with it. It shoots right at MOA with factory Federal 150's. I haven't reloaded for it yet. It has a pretty good kick with 180's, but a Limbsaver...
