    Re: velocity with varget? I shoot an LTR (20" barrel). With 100 yard zero I'm at 15.5 MOA at 600 yards with 168 SMK, 45.1 g Varget, 2.80 OAL, Lapua Case, WLR. This should get you on paper.

    Re: Reloading for .308 I have an LTR that really likes 168 SMKs loaded with 45.1g of Varget, Lapua case, WLR primer, and COL of 2.80. This load will put five shots in one ragged hole at 100. At 200 and 300 the group size is proportional to the range. HOWEVER, at 600 I am getting an 18"...

    Re: Bedding a Tikka T3 +1 on just shoot it stock first. I have two T3 lites (204 and 243) and they shoot a 5 shot ragged hole. Good tool, good price point.

    Flat Shooting caliber

    Re: Flat Shooting caliber I like the 204. Pelt friendly, no recoil (see your shot) and can hit prairie dogs over 300 yards. It's cheap to reload too. Mines a SS Tikka T3 Lite.
