    serious runners

    Re: serious runners I ran track/cross country in college and we had to run between 3 and 7 miles a day with our rest day on sunday. stretch really well before and after running and change shoes on a regular basis. stay off asphault and concrete as much as possible. run on dirt if practical.

    Re: Secretariat Yeah they said they weighed Sham's heart and it weighed about 14 pounds i think. A typical horse heart weighs about 7 pounds. The same Dr. that did the autopsy on Sham also did Secretariat's. Although Secretariat's heart was not weighed it was estimated to be around 22 pounds...

    Re: Secretariat Yeah my mom bought it for my girls, and we all enjoyed it. The bonus features are very interesting as well. He never lost 2 races in a row and when he did get beat he broke a record the next time out. He was an amazing animal.

    Re: Diet Coke Blues! What ever you do dont start back on them. I went about a month without drinking a coke, and like an idiot i drank a vault. Within minutes I was sick as a dog. I know a vault was about the worst I could drink but dang, I felt horrible.

    Re: Think it's time for a "new to me" pickup truck Just got an 06 F150 King Ranch and I love it. Gas mileage is not good, but the truck rides and handles great. 4 wheel drive is also very trustworthy. I have the supercrew and have plenty of room for the wife and 2 kids who are still in car...
