    Re: AICS or McRee or XLR? I have a Savage action with a McGowen heavy contour match barrel in an XLR stock. I love it. Flawless fit/finish. Also being 6'4", all the built in adjustment made it easy to fit.

    Re: Noobies new build The bearings were changed on completion of the build, so a thinner profile could be acheived. The only thing to do to complete the instalation, is make a spacer. You can see it in the end of the bolt in this pic. Here is the link to the bearings used...
