WOA match vs BCM recce? Most accurate?

Thanks for the advice fellas. Ended up going with the BCM for better or worse. I think mainly due to the claimed quality control practices of BCM like high pressure and mag particle testing on all barrels (as far as I saw) and bcg's, prob other products idk.. and partly due to the rumor about...

WOA match vs BCM recce? Most accurate?

16" & mid length gas, that I've decided on. Main reason for choosing those two is simply because they're in stock (and in budget..) I want the more accurate (with factory match ammo) of the two I think. I suppose that's what it comes down too at this point. I shoot 69 - 77 gr...

Affordable parts/accessories your 100% happy with?

That ptg dbm has been on my mind since I saw that $75 price from the "Hide and seek" thread. How much inletting was necessary? Is it a for-sure-gunsmith kinda thing or can most folks with a dremel handle it.? (I'm kinda cheap but in my defense I've HD lousy luck with smiths)

Affordable parts/accessories your 100% happy with?

I am a huge fan of DIY projects. Have you or could you do a write up on the holsters made from kydex? I've been eyeing that stuff for a number of different uses (including a holster for my tlr-2 laden xd) but have yet to further those pursuits due to the limited lack of info I've been able to find.

Affordable parts/accessories your 100% happy with?

For example I'm just as happy or satisfied with my Caldwell brand bipod on my Ar15 as I am with a Harris or even my atlas? Although admittedly the atlas looks cooler ;). And to my surprise my cheapo UTG "pro" rifle length handguard is as nice as most hand guards twice the price in my opinion...

    Best Muzzle Brake?

Good choice that is the best muzzle brake I've ever found, easy to get on and off, great looking, surprisingly effective given its size. In my opinion of course

    Best Muzzle Brake?

If you want the most effective muzzle brake thats what your looking for, perhaps not the best looking but I don't know what your priorities are

A "less rude" comp/brake for Ar (that works)..?

Its the dpms 18" "mk12" barrel, rilfe length gas and hand guard, collapsible stock with bird cage at the tip. Obviously recoil isn't anything to cry over but those super fast follow ups are out of my reach without little help.

A "less rude" comp/brake for Ar (that works)..?

A suppressor would be pretty nice I admit, but damn their expensive and what's worse, I have to throw the $ down and MIGHT see it at the earliest 3 months away.. A few guys I've talked to are a full year+ into the wait for their stamps... Not sure I have that kinda patience As far as brakes go...

A "less rude" comp/brake for Ar (that works)..?

I realize the idea of a quiet compensator or muzzle brake is a ridiculous request, what I want to know from those who might know is, is there perhaps a less obnoxious, less concussive, muzzle brake out there? My main concern is for those next to me. I was next to a surefire brake the other day...

    Is it my mag?

This was the culprit for my only issues with my ar. It actually felt very tight but in reality the key had risen off the carrier just slightly, almost immeasurable amount, anyway I cranked down the two bolts on top and haven't had an issue since, going on a few thousand rounds I think. (Wish I...

    Gunsmithing Muzzle Break Question!

Re: Muzzle Break Question! I did try the true clamp on to end of barrel one from him and never had any issue of it flying off and it seemed to work well as far as recoil was concerned. And his service is good, always important info gotta toss it in. While the recoil was reduced and it stayed...

Which Pelican Rifle case is best for me

Re: Which Pelican Rifle case is best for me I use a storm 3300 I got on sale from midway and love it. With some careful arranging I fit my 26" barrel 700 w/stock pack etc along with an 18" barrl ar (with collapsible stock) in it. Its a tight fit but I was able to keep hardiggs recommended min...

Re: Possibly Moving to San Antonio Don't think Dallas is just like San An first off, its not. I grew up about 1-2 hours east of Dallas and went their often, too often. Now, however, I live about an hour-ish from both Austin and San Antonio in the heart of the Texas hill country and love it...

    DPMS MK12 barrel/ spr build (update w/pics)

Re: DPMS MK12 barrel Hell I'm glad I'm not the only one that got that barrel for a "budget" mk12 build. I looked through a number of peoples mk12 build pictures and quickly gave up on the idea, everyone had super legit (expensive) components I wasn't willing to match. As for accuracy of the...

    16 inch or 20 inch?

Re: 16 inch or 20 inch? I had the same question and couldn't decide, so I went with an 18".. With a collapsible stock its manageable in and out of the truck and likes hitting steel at 500yrds all day but if I had to do it again id go with a 14.5" with pinned brake or hider, or 16" (you get...
