    This guy has it right. There aren't any good $400 1911's. If that's your budget, find a used sig or beretta. In my opinion, every man should own a real steel, american made, 1911. The troube is that 1911's require some knowledge and TLC to build and run.

    I'm sure the other cans are good as well, but that is why I went with the TBAC. Their team is huge on forums and when I asked questions, I got straight forward answers quickly. I'm still pending at the now shutdown NFA branch, so I can't tell you firsthand how good it is yet.
