    The WSM's potential really can not be capitalized on until you go long action. I think we will see allot more long actions chambered in short mags over the next couple years. At least one more in my house and a heavy barreled tikka to boot.

    What's a magic number? I tend to prefer shorter barrels myself but you can't dispute the velocity gains from the longer tubes.

    I can tell you how accurate my 16" gun is or that I really do shoot long range with it but more to the point............"those people are idiots." A good barrel is a good barrel, in a good gun will be accurate and more velocity is well............ more velocity. Really is that simple.

    Your garage or spare bedroom will work. Have you considered the dining room table? Glass bedding a rifle is a very simple procedure and can easily be done by anyone. There are some great tutorials available online and threw out the forums for details on glass bedding your particular action..

    If you do not know what tracking is why on earth would you be looking at tactical scopes? There sole purpose is tracking. Confused. I am a huge bushnell elite fan, I know some of there lesser glass is still OK but NO $80 scope tracks reliably, hence the market for $300+ scopes.
