Thanks for your help! I bought it online through the website. (I'm in Australia). It was the start of May when I first purchased from memory.

Thanks! I saw that but it doesn't connect to the cal gen 2 pic clamp.

Atlas Cal gen2 - quick release adapter?

First up - damn this is a stable bipod. Feels so solid! I did make a mistake, and should have ordered the LW17 model, rather than the standard mount. Is there an adapter that will allow a quick release, or the only option to sell this (brand new) and buy the right one? Hoping I'm not the...

hmm twitter. No wonder its not working for me - anything anti-trump works, anything pro USA doesn't . Must be a coincidence?

    Ear pro

I've tried a lot of in-ears. I think the best sound quality are the 3m TEP-100's, but for reliability, the AXIL Ghoststryke's worked really well, and are cheaper

That mag looks very nice - do SAC do those mags for other calibres?

I can only vouch for the Hornady stuff, but all shot under half MOA for me. I actually found the 120grn amax's shot better than the 140 ELD's I currently shoot, but not by much.

    Factory ammo recommendation? 338 LapMag

Hi, I'm just starting on the reloading journey - have a heap of learning to do, and gear to buy and research. I'll start reloading my 6.5cm, and then when I have a process down, look at the 338. In the meantime, can anyone recommend a factory round for a 338 lapmag? For a factory barreled dta...

Rifle Scopes Schmidt and bender durability and toughness, how durable are they? how does it compare to NF and every other brand?

*bias notice* I have S&B PM2 5-25 MTC. Whilst it has great glass, I'd never get another. I have dark dots on my glass from internal grease splatter. S&B want me to return it to Germany to be repaired at my cost (and significant time being in Australia). I know distance isn't S&B's fault...

Yeah terrible. We are thankful to the U.S for their support during our devestating fires. Our state politicians are IMHO to blame - they did not act to reduce fuel loads. Some area's where I hunt, its so full of tinder and combustible deadfall, you can't walk through it. Australian bush is...

Just has a full length top pic rail like the a1, and is in 338 NM. Details on the DT facebook post. Pretty underwhelming.

LOL Don't come to Australia then! I live not far from Phillip Island - which has huge population of Great Whites. Popular with surfers (just bring someone along who's a slower swimmer than you)

Maggie’s Religion explained in a new way

Thats like saying, without dark, there can be no light. Dark doesn't cause the light, but dark surely does show the contrast between the two. Doing, speaking and promoting good is certainly what we should all strive for. I believe we all have a nature that swings between naturally doing...

After some advice here. I had only one calibre up until recently (6.5cm) and just purchased a 338 conversion second hand - factory barrel etc etc. It had barely been used. I pulled my 6.5 barrel out with no issues - although I did notice the 4 side screws were very loose. I put the 338...

    highest quality hearing protection?

I've tried a heap of them and found, for me, the best all rounder was the TEP-100's. Great NRR with the skull skrews, good quality audio. Just found one of my buds stopped working a while back. Now I have a case and spare bud to try to sell to a non-existant Aussie market lol
