    Sig Mosquito

I'm thinking about picking up a Sig Mosquito for the kids to learn to shoot. Does anybody have any thoughts? I like the feel of it over the the Walter P22, but I have heard that they can both be finicky with ammo. I'm thinking about going the threaded barrel, so that I can buy a can for it later.

    Gunsmithing Stuck cleaning rod

Re: Stuck cleaning rod Ironically, I just had this happen to me today with a barrel I was breaking in. I also got the jag out with half of the patch, but the rod would not budge. I was able to tap the end of the rod in with my staple gun, and then use the staple gun to tap the handle to get...

Gunsmithing Question about a Remington 700 bolt

I'm about to get a custom build done with my current 30-06 action. My question is about my bolt. I noticed that it has some small damage on the bolt lugs. It looks like someone over-tightened the guard screws and possibly the base screws (or put them into the action when the rifle was not in...

Re: Help with scope mounting? Thanks guys, I just scraped my idea of getting a picatinny rail, and ordered a long range one piece std leupold base that will have the 20MOA in it, and still allow me to use the windage screws on the base to keep my scope fairly centered up.
