What to Look for in an AR-15 Bolt & BCG?

Let's see, BCG's that I've run and trusted - Of course, BCM. Wilson Combat - on the 12 days of Christmas sale, great buy. PSA - not bad for the cost. Stag - not bad either, upgraded extractor/spring/donut. JoeBob's - Ran that in a 12.2" 300BLK, came with upgraded extractor kit and McFarland...

    Brand New AR-15 Bol Question

If you mean tight as in the bolt rotating back into the carrier, that's somewhat normal from my own experiences with new BCG's. A little coat of Slip2k, a few mag's run, it'll loosen up some.

Went to the range this morning

Went this afternoon in the wind and rain, just had to shoot. It's a new (to me) rifle and I haven't fine zeroed it yet, but with Remington 55gr FMJ-BT it did shoot pretty well. Hopefully I can get out again tomorrow and match or beat that. ETA: Sorry, it isn't a 10-shot group.
