Maggie’s THE "NOM NOM NOM" THREAD

Tomatoes look good! Redoing the backyard so no tomatoes for me this year. Finished banana bread, doesn't taste smokey but I think it always adds a nice touch of "something" that people can't pinpoint.

Maggie’s THE "NOM NOM NOM" THREAD

Jerky came out great, you can see the missing taste test piece. 6lbs of raw meat came out to 2.5lbs of jerky. Tonight is going to be salmon on the green egg, as @lash inspired the menu.

Maggie’s THE "NOM NOM NOM" THREAD

Ended up with a Green Mountain grill. I was choosing between Traeger, Green Mountain, and Yoder. Picked it based on being cheaper than a traeger for IMO similar features, the higher temps it can get to than the Traeger, and the fact that though I thought the Yoder was much better construction I...

Maggie’s THE "NOM NOM NOM" THREAD

Nope, chicken and corn was done on my pellet grill. The other chicken got the dark color, this one just didn't color like normal. Was very strange. 250 or 275 for twenty minutes then I turn it up to 350 and it's done in an hour and 20. I prefer chicken on the green egg, but can't fit two...

Maggie’s THE "NOM NOM NOM" THREAD

My sad non bacon chicken.... And the start of 6lbs of jerky to make up for it. Costco had prime top of round that I couldn't pass up. Marinating now and will go in the dehydrator tomorrow. I prefer a thick chewy jerky that tastes like beef rather than the majority of the stuff that's sold that's...

Breakfast for dinner. Wild hog sausage with eggs and potatoes. Next year need to add a bit more heat to the sausage mix, as this is mild Italianish and I prefer hot.

    Maggie’s Battery Power Chainsaw

Yep, have a few stihls for the property, but the harbor freight plug in for the suburban house. Exactly what I needed for nuisance trees/limbs and easy to lend to folks. For $50 I've more than gotten my money's worth... I wouldn't use it for anything major, but it managed to take down a 12"...

Training Courses Beginner Tips and Understanding MOA/MIL

This is not accurate. Both MOA and milirands are angular measurements of a circle. I'd say once one understands it's all angles it becomes much easier. Stop thinking in inches at a specific distance or that MILS is metric and MOA is imperial. It's all about angles.

K-Bars What Knife is in your pocket right now?

Been using this for a couple months now. Love how it feels in the hand and the pocket due to its weight. Wish I would have bought one sooner.
