    Atlas bipod durability

Re: Atlas bipod durability I guess I load my Atlas V8 bipods pretty hard. I ended up warping the notches on the plate that locks in the bipod legs causing a leg to collapse sometimes, my experience was one in a million. And apparently I have a thing for breaking stuff when it comes into my...

    Hog saddle shooting rest

Re: Hog saddle shooting rest Ran one of those on a few events at the USASOC comp and it was very effective in attaching my rifle to a tripod quickly as opposed to attaching it by rail. Good tool to have for a sniper comp and operational use. It seems very well built and durable.

    AR-10 Options / Opinions

Re: AR-10 Options / Opinions Larue OBR, in my personal experience with the gun and many others Larue guns. It is a solid platform with solid accuracy. Although with price increases there may be other viable alternatives if price is an issue.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Marines to field Colt .45 1911

Re: Marines to field Colt .45 1911 I am issued a Glock 19 for work in the Army. Definitely way better than carrying an M9 and definitely a lot nicer to shoot and carry. I wouldn't mind carrying a 1911 i would indeed prefer it. But we are starting to go into the whole whats better 45 or 9mm...

BARRETT M107A1 is it worth it ?

Re: BARRETT M107A1 is it worth it ? I have those at work and they aren't really the favorite tool of use. It seems on the civilian side to be more of a novelty or status symbol IMO and it has the cool factor to wow your friends. I agree with the posts above on the AI and HTI guns for...

    TIGHT LaRue fit!

Re: TIGHT LaRue fit! My OBR shoots around .5-.75 MOA consistently. Still has a tight fit where I have to use a rubber mallet to get it fit because its so tight. I ran a different OBR for a competition that was pretty loose but shot consistently .5 MOA or smaller. I agree with the notion that...

OBR test targets VS actual accuracy

Re: OBR test targets VS actual accuracy My LaRue gun originally came with a .8 something MOA photo copied Test Target. My gun started off shooting .75 MOA and groups shrunk after maybe 800 rds down to .5MOA or better with M118LR. Why moan and complain over a photo copied test target when it...

Re: Tomahawks I was skeptical of my RMJ Tomahawk when I first got it (it was free). I figured it was just an ordinary Tomahawk before researching who they actually were. I've come to use it quite a bit overseas. It is some high class stuff seems it hold its edge pretty good and can take a...

    best weapon mounted light?

Re: best weapon mounted light? Surefire X300, it's easy and fast to swap between multiple platforms such as long guns, pistols and even Ops-Core type helmets. I've had mine for about 3-4 years so far with numerous trips overseas. It can take a decent beating as well.
