    FTF Garand - Help

I never said the guys on the CMP forums are the only ones that know anything about Garands, however if I had a problem with my Honda Civic, though I may be able to get some sound advice on any car forum, if I have a very specific problem I would go to a place with a bunch of people who also has...

    FTF Garand - Help

Well first off congrats on the new Garand. I personally went to Aniston and picked my first one out last summer. Great experience. Second you may need to send it back to the CMP. They have been known to take back a rifle that has had issues, fix the issue and the return the rifle. It does not...

Mosin Nagant 800 Yards with Iron Sights

The problem is it takes one bad apple, a rumor it was an entire crate and the internet to ruin it for every other Mosin. Heck I have seen Remington 700's shoot like garbage, but I have also seen some amazing out of the box ones also.

Mosin Nagant 800 Yards with Iron Sights

A couple of years ago a guy I work with asked me what I thought about a few rifles he had been eyeballing for him and his son to learn/get into shooting. His son was 12 maybe a little older. He had been shooting a 22 and wanted something bigger and better. Everything he had eyeballing was $1000+...

Mosin Nagant 800 Yards with Iron Sights

Very nice. The furthest I have gotten the chance to shoot my Mosin is 500 yards. I may have missed this in the video, but what ammo is being used?

Why Would Anyone Want to Shoot a Vintage Sniper Rifle?

Very nice. Not many people shoot those paper patch cast bullets because of the work required to reload, nice to see someone still is.

    Any info. on 30/40 Krag?

The biggest problem with 30/40 is ammo. It is best to be a reloader if you own anything in 30/40, which FYI shoots almost any bullet I have used so far using IMR 4350. I personally love my 1898 Krag, though that is a bolt action. It groups very well, and has a mild recoil. I do not know to much...

Looking at the video about 6 seconds into it, it appears he is loading a Garand.

Why Would Anyone Want to Shoot a Vintage Sniper Rifle?

I like older guns no matter what for many reason including the historical significance, but I really like to challenge myself with an old WW I or WW II era rifles, some in a sniper configuration because I know what I can do with modern stuff.

    Creedmoor 03A4

The problem with the JRA and all those others is it seems to be a crap shoot whether they are good or not. I sent my deposit for one from chuckindenver last week. I ended up going with him due to his reputation.

Who is the most historically significant SNIPER?

Well I will say this about Simo, anyone who gets shot in the face and lives is one bad ass.
