Rifles Only FTW Sling! Update New Video/8-22-14

Kind of a dick thing to do when a mfg. is supporting the hide. Start your own thread or reach out to the mfg. who has been thoughtful enough to provide an amazing level of access to contact him personally. I'm sure these guys will answer any questions you have with class, but I just had to speak...

    Opinion on Spotter Choice

One more thing to note, I talked to one of the guys at Vortex. He said pretty bluntly that he'd recommend the Viper when I asked him for advice on choosing between the two. It's always a tough call when you can't compare them side by side, but that was helpful feedback in my case.

    eberlestock lodrag x3

Not sure about LEO pricing, but Ceylon has some pretty good pricing to begin with. You could also shoot a PM over to him on the hide.

How would you set up your range, if you had one?

I've dimpled 3/8 AR500 under 100 yards. This was a IPSC steel target on a stand. The thickness of the steel wont have any effect on dimpling. The bullet is only deforming the surface. You may do better if it's hanging. Edge hits are going to chew your steel. Only really an issue for us because...

    Night Vision FLIR one

Saw a review of some guy playing around with it here: FLIR ONE Camera Review: Yep, iPhone Predator-Vision Is Awesome Nothing serious, but it's at least a real world look.

    Need help on Gessiele trigger

H322, I mean, yes. Ejector swipe is also called Case-head swipe. It's a circular impression on the case head from the ejector in the AR platform. It's a good early sign of too much pressure. Here is an article on it. If you just want a quick idea, scroll down to the large pic of the cases side...

    Need help on Gessiele trigger

As far as the 6.5 Grendel goes, I've been working up some loads in my JP gas gun. From my time around the 6.5 forum, I barely saw any bolt issues come up, more rumors than guys with busted bolts. I've run from minimum to max loads with h233 (since that's what I had around) without any pressure...

New long range shooter here, need advice

One more thing to toss in if you haven't seen it, LoneWolfUSMC has an outstanding series that he posts on here and on his youtube channel. Definitely worth checking out some of the videos if you have some particular topic he's covered. It's under Mail Call Mondays...

    Fenix TK flashlights any good?

If you want to find out more than you'll ever want to know about flashlights Candle Power Forums has a huge amount of info on their site. Do a quick Google search. They seem to be pretty favorable on Fenix overall.

A poll - Is your weekly income more than $219.95 USD

Might be good to ask about net income or disposable income instead. Big difference for some people between what they make and what they've already spent.

What's important to you. Quality or Price?

Honestly, I'd love to see some science put to this. Same steel cut both ways and torture tested. That would put any questions to sleep about if it's worth it. In this case, it's $25, so that seems like an easy call for a consumer. But when you start getting to the more expensive targets or if...

a serious , strong and rigid bipod

I'm not 100% sure you'll love the atlas if you spend the money on it. I personally do. However, you need to load it up. It's not like putting it on a block of concrete or in a vise and letting it do all of the work for you. Honestly, it sounds like you belong on a site like 6mmbr.com (regardless...

    World's Finest Trimmer - WFT vs WFT2

I have the WFT in two calibers and for the price, it's pretty good for what it is. The giraud looks nice, and I may get one someday. The real question is about budget and how much else the OP needs. He says he's new to reloading, so that might mean buying a lot of things at once, then upgrading...
