    Re: Kestrel Density Altitude issues Just popped it open to have a look. Started at 2170 when I opened it up. After letting it sit for a while all on it's own, it fell down to 2130-2117 after 3 minutes, jumping from 2100 to 2070 after 5 minutes. It's fluctuating about 3-7 feet fairly constantly.

    Re: USO vs Nightforce? I just picked up a USO SN3 5-25 and I can tell you it's a big scope and has some weight to it. I plan to use it mostly at the range, but you may want to take that into consideration if you're going to lug it around in the woods. Still, it's an outstanding piece of glass.

    Just got a USO SN3 5-25 with a 58mm objective. I need to get some rings for it so that it will clear the rail on a flat top AR (6.5 Grendel) I saw the sticky at the top, but I wanted to ask some of you experienced guys to be certain. Also, any thoughts on a QD base? Pros or cons?

    Re: is it normal for 3/8" AR500 to dimple at 100?? Had the same thing happen to the LV Steel target I have. .223 eats it up a bit, especially if you hit right on the edge. The one I have has a heart swinger. Since it moves it seem to take less of a beating.
