    Re: Powder for 175-208 gr projectiles for 308! I had better luck with cfe223 than the 2000mr. cfe does give better velocities especially when running 208amax at mag length. rl-15 has given the best accuracy. i couldnt get varget to work for my gun. 8208 didnt work for the heavier pills

    Re: Low recoil 110 gr. projectile in .308 - questions i shoot the sierra 110 hp. Using h335 in winchester brass gets me 3500fps out of a 24 inch barrel. shoots 1/2 moa at 100 and sub moa to 400yds.

    Re: To cut or not to cut I have a lr308 that used to be a 24" bbl. Had it cut down to 16" threaded and crowned. It shot 1/2 moa to 500yds at 24". I was worried what it would do to the accuracy, but it shot a little less than 3/4" moa afterwards. It sure made it easier to manuever it around...

    Hunting & Fishing 110gr bullet .308 instead of .243?

    Re: 110gr bullet .308 instead of .243? never tried the vmax, but the 110hp sierra is a nasty bullet. I shoot it out of a 16" 1:10 twist lr308 at 3kfps. Its accurate to 500yds. best part is I can load it with h335. shoots 1/2 moa at 100 and can consistantly hit 4" squares at 400.

    Cabelas XT1500 digital scale

    Re: Cabelas XT1500 digital scale I had the cabelas model for a day. It didnt work from thhee word go. Had an error that the paperwork stated it had to be ssent in for repair. Good thing is cabelas took it back with no issues.
