    Rifle Scopes Anyone else anxiously awaiting a new Vortex?

    I have my back order in with Scott at Liberty Optics, for a Viper PST 2.5-10x32. I'm looking very foreword to the next shipment, this will be my first Vortex. I think this'll be perfect for my "SPR". Anyone else waiting on a new release?

    Rifle Scopes Would you bed this base? (pics)

    I've been following this thread and just received a new base and I'm wondering the same. The base is a Warne going on a Savage 10 pc. I'm not sure if mine needs bedding though, It fits square. I installed front then rear, checked for gaps, there is zero. So if no bed, loctite to help prevent rust?

    I have a PST 32mm on back order myself. I was also wondering about a sunshade, as I shoot in that direction early in the morning. I've just draped something over mine before, works ok, but still not ideal.

    Lead Sled for load development?

    Shot my best group with the "Solo", but only once. Otherwise it was a pain, needing constant readjusting. Still shot better on average with a bipod and bag. I eventually sold it.

    Re: highly considering a ZT?? I picked up a ZT 350sw last week, it's now my favorite new knife. I own Benchmade, Spyderco, and others. The ZT is the most knife for the $$ by far. You will not be dissapointed, but for EDC, you might look into the 350 also.
